A landscape that looks incredible in April and fried by August wasn't designed for this coast. We plan beds around plants that genuinely thrive here — coontie, silver buttonwood, firebush, muhly grass, clusia, dwarf fakahatchee — grouped by how much water and sun they actually need instead of scattered by color alone. Near the water we lean on salt- and wind-tolerant material that shrugs off spray coming off the Indian River and the inlets.
Every plan accounts for mature size, so nothing swallows the walkway in three years, and for the drainage behavior of sandy Treasure Coast soil. We amend beds, install commercial-grade edging and fresh mulch or rock, and rebalance your irrigation zones to match the new planting. If you're in an HOA community, we prepare the plant list and drawing in the format your ARC committee expects, so approval isn't a second project.
